There’s still plenty of time to sign up for the most rewarding and exciting golf tournament of the entire summer!! The Mayflower Cup Tournament will once again be hosted by our friends at the Indian Pond Country Club in Kingston on Wednesday June 25, with a shot gun start at 9:00 am. You can preregister at our new and exciting website www.plymouthdistrictbar.org, or by returning the attached sign-up sheet to our email at plymouthdistrictbar@yahoo.com or to the Curmudgeon at marshalljohnsonesq@gmail.com. (If you’re really feeling adventurous or daring, you can call in or text your registration info directly to 508-317-4002) We will also be taking registrations the day of the tournament beginning at 8:00 am.
The PDBA is especially pleased to offer this PGA-quality event for the inflation busting price of $155pp, which includes all golf fees, cart fees, putting green access and a gourmet post-golf meal!! Naturally we will also be awarding our coveted prizes for 1st 2nd and 3rd place teams, as well as longest drive prizes for men and women. As if all that weren’t enough (and don’t you think it would be??), the PDBA/AOBA will of course be offering unbelievable silent auction items, raffle prizes and a 50/50 raffle, all to benefit the Thomas P. Kramer Scholarship Fund. We take payment by check, cash or Venmo (@plymouthdistrictbarassociation).
The Mayflower Cup is the primary fund-raising vehicle for the Kramer Scholarship, which awards scholarships to graduating high school seniors pursing an education in the law, law enforcement or criminal justice. The PDBA has been able to grow this program substantially over time, and last year we were able to grant five (5) $1,000.00 scholarships to local high students. So if you or anyone you know would like to be a hole sponsor ($100), offer a silent auction or raffle prize or just come on out for fun in the sun and a relaxing round of chasing the pellet, come join the Plymouth District Bar Association, America’s Oldest Bar Association as we welcome summer at the Indian Pond Country Club, 60 Country Club Drive, Kingston on Wednesday June 25 at 9:00 am.!!! You’ll be glad you did!!
