Season’s Greetings, Elves!!
Once again, our devoted friends and family at Blackstone’s at Indian Pond have put together an incredible menu, outstanding decorations and are stocking the bar for our annual Christmas celebration. Who doesn’t like a little holiday cheer?? $75 per person gets you in the door and up to the bar. Remember: spouses, significant others, insignificant others, work-wives and camp followers are always welcome!! So mark your calendars for Wednesday, December 17, dig out those hideous sweaters and god-awful ties, tie on the jingle bells and come tie one on with the bar association with more Christmas spirit than any other bar association this side of the old Bailey Building and Loan and that side of Santa’s workshop.
ELECTION RESULTS
The results of our recent elections conclave are in: our new Director is none other than our
outgoing president, Mike Phippen (elected for a 3 year term), and our new Secretary is
newcomer Jennifer White (elected for a 1 year term). Welcome aboard!! The PDBA looks
forward to your support and contributions!!
TEDDY BEARS
Since its inception more than 15 years ago, the PDBA Teddy Bear program has donated
customized teddy bears to the Plymouth Probate and Family Court and the Plymouth Juvenile Court to be given to adoptive parents and their kids. Over the years we have donated more than 2,000 teddy bears to these loving families and they are always a hit!! The PDBA looks forward to continuing this uniquely rewarding endeavor and we are looking for our members, friends and guests to help us to defray the cost. Anyone wishing to help support the cause may do so by making a voluntary add-on to their meal payments ($5, 10, whatever). If you can’t make a meeting, you can just forward a donation directly to PDBA, P.O. Box 3022, Plymouth, MA 02361. You can also pay by Venmo. This is a fantastically worthwhile program and the PDBA hopes everyone will help us to keep it going!!
CANCELLATION POLICY
The PDBA is able to keep its benefits high and its costs low by maintaining a slim financial
margin of error. Therefore, if the vicissitudes of life intervene and you must cancel your
reservation less than 48 hours before a meeting, the PDBA reserves the right to ask you to unlock your wallets and bring yourselves flush with America’s oldest and most rewarding bar
association. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! -PDBA
