  • 2 min read

The Great Blizzard of ‘26 may have temporarily interfered with our intrepid band of legal

beagles but, like the bard says, “we get knocked down but we get up again!!”  So come join the PDBA as we rebound at Mamma Mia’s on the Plymouth waterfront on Wednesday March 25 for a rousing “first meeting of spring!!” We’ll be offering a sumptuous Italian buffet, courtesy of our friends at Mamma Mia’s. If we play our cards right, we may even get some cannoli for dessert!! All this for the ridiculously affordable price of $40pp!! As always friends, guests and camp followers are invited!! Please RSVP to the above email or to  marshalljohnsonesq@gmail.com . If you’re feeling brave you can also call the resident curmudgeon at 508-317-4002.

the Plymouth Trial Court, followed by an evening banquet. We are currently looking for

volunteers to help make this auspicious event even more memorable. If you are interested in

being involved, please reach out to our resident grump, Marshall Johnson.

GOLF TOURNAMENT

SAVE THE DATE!!! The Annual Mayflower Cup golf tournament will be held on Wednesday,

June 24, 2026 at the Indian Pond Country Club in Kingston. Contact your buddies, dust off

those spikes, and get your foursomes ready! MaryKate Geary is heading up this event so make sure you stay tuned for further details to come!!

TEDDY BEARS

Since its inception more than 15 years ago, the PDBA Teddy Bear program has donated

customized teddy bears to the Plymouth Probate and Family Court and the Plymouth Juvenile Court to be given to adoptive parents and their kids. Over the years we have donated more than 2,000 teddy bears to these loving families and they are always a hit!! The PDBA looks forward to continuing this uniquely rewarding endeavor and we are looking for our members, friends and guests to help us to defray the cost. Anyone wishing to help support the cause may do so by making a voluntary add-on to their meal payments ($5, 10, whatever). If you can’t make a meeting, you can just forward a donation directly to PDBA, P.O. Box 3022, Plymouth, MA 02361. You can also pay by Venmo. This is a fantastically worthwhile program and the PDBA hopes everyone will help us to keep it going!!

CANCELLATION POLICY

The PDBA is able to keep its benefits high and its costs low by maintaining a slim financial

margin of error. Therefore, if the vicissitudes of life intervene and you must cancel your

reservation less than 48 hours before a meeting, the PDBA reserves the right to ask you to unlock your wallets and bring yourselves flush with America’s oldest and most rewarding bar

association.

WARMEST WINTER WISHES!!!

PDBA
